25 @TrailStart is home to the 25th Allerton Scout Group

We are a thriving, volunteer-led youth programme that gives young people aged 4 to 14 the skills, confidence, and experiences to thrive in life. Through fun, challenge, and friendship, we support every child to discover their potential and make a difference in their community.

Big adventures for little explorers.

Squirrels is where it all begins — a welcoming, play-based programme designed to spark curiosity and confidence in our youngest members. From outdoor games and storytelling to craft and teamwork, Squirrels learn through fun and build the foundations of friendship and independence.

🐿️ Squirrels (Ages 4–6)

Fun, friendships, and first adventures.

Beavers are always busy — exploring the outdoors, earning badges, making friends, and trying new things for the first time. Whether it’s building dens, learning first aid, or going on their first camp, Beavers gain life skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Ready for a challenge.

Cubs love to get stuck in — from campfire cooking to hiking, helping in the community, and building rafts. At this stage, young people learn more independence, take on group responsibilities, and gain confidence in making decisions — all while having fun.

Lead the way.

Scouts take things to the next level — mastering outdoor skills, planning activities, going on overnight expeditions, and stepping up as leaders. It's all about teamwork, resilience, and discovering what they’re capable of, while supporting others and making lasting friendships.
